About CEO

elcome to the zero issue of Corporate Europe Observer, the quarterly newsletter of CEO (Corporate Europe Observatory). Corporate Europe Observer contains

updates and critical analyses of the activities of corporate lobby groups in Europe and beyond. We invite you to join CEO in investigating Corporate Europe and to share your findings in one of the next issues of Corporate Europe Observer. Also, we would very much appreciate to hear what you like, don't like or miss in this issue.

In the future, we plan to distribute Corporate Europe Observer primarily by e-mail, to reduce costs. E-mail subscriptions will be free of charge. Subscriptions to the paper version will cost UK pound 10,-- or an equivalent in your local currency for the first four issues. Ordering details below.

After reading Corporate Europe Observer you may want to order a copy of Corporate Europe Observatory's report Europe Inc. -- Dangerous Liaisons Between EU Institutions and Industry. This report, which came out a few months ago, provides background information on most of the lobby organisations presented in this newsletter. Ordering details below.

This issue of Corporate Europe Observer has been brought to you by: Belen Balanya, Ann Doherty, Olivier Hoedeman and Erik Wesselius.
